Touch Paintings. To be touched and worn away.

This series was made of my family in response to rising hate crimes during the corona virus pandemic.  I grew very concerned with my parent's safety.

The absence of touch during the pandemic was also a painful reminder of our separation from each other and I yearned for touch of closeness, intimacy, understanding while watching the touch of hate and violence on the news.
